AEW DARK was a weekly program consisting of All Elite Wrestling's "dark matches" (matches that took place during AEW Dynamite tapings that weren't included in the Dynamite episode). The show was FREE to watch on AEW's official YouTube channel. The show ran from October 8th, 2019 - April 25th, 2023. The program would feature matches either taped before or after the preceding episode of AEW Rampage (if it was LIVE), a pay-per-view or at Soundstage 21 in Universal Studios Florida, which served as the main base of operations for tapings of DARK's weekly episodes. Prior to that, it was taped before and after the preceding episode of AEW's flagship program, Dynamite, and had featured segments highlighting the previous week's Dynamite and interviews from various AEW personalities. The show was originally hosted by Tony Schiavone and Dasha Gonzalez in a studio called the "AEW Control Center". Both DARK and it's spin-off program, DARK: Elevation, were canceled due to the addition of AEW's television program Collision and the exclusivity contract they had signed with WarnerMedia that prohibits any AEW programming from airing on any other network other than TNT / TBS or WarnerMedia owned network.
